Predators of tarantulas include lizards, snakes, spider-eating birds, coyotes and foxes.
Prey:
They are nocturnal feeders. They eat at night. Tarantulas are carnivores. They cannot eat their prey in solid form. They first bite them and then inject them with venom which paralyzes the prey so they cannot move. The tarantula then covers the prey with enzymes which turn their bodies in to soup. The spider then sucks up its meal with straw like mouthparts.
